When families fight, only the lawyers win. 

Six years ago when you elected me as the Medina County Domestic Relations Judge I promised to put families first.  Here is how I have kept my promise: 

I reduced family conflict by introducing programs, such as:

• A court sponsored Mediation Program that is free for Medina County residents
• A Legal Resource Center for people to find the answers they need without paying high priced lawyers
• A Case Services Assessment process to give parents the information and resources they need to resolve conflict
• A supervised Parenting Time and Exchange Center offering children a safe and conflict-free space to enjoy time with both parents
• A plan to enforce Child Support Orders while ensuring working parents whose economic circumstances have changed have stream-lined access to the relief they need. 

As a Judge and a single parent who has been through the process, I have firsthand experience how this Court affects families.   I will continue to keep families first by introducing a three point plan to reduce family conflict, enhance children’s relationships with both parents and increase access to the court while protecting the privacy of children.
