While Judge Kovack supports the public
interest in having access to court records
to evaluate the performance of the Judge and
the Court, she declines to publish family
information on the internet.
Judge Kovack believes that it is unfair
that the law protects the privacy of children
who break the law (juvenile delinquents) but
does not protect the privacy of children whose
parents divorce.
Realizing that so many children and
teenagers have the skills and access to view
court documents on the computer, Judge Kovack
declines to publish Domestic Relations Court
records on the the world wide web to protect
the privacy of Medina County families.
